Sr. Margaret McCann, Convents of Mercy, Collooney, Co. Sligo and

Swinford, Co. Mayo and formerly of Derryronane, Swinford,

peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Sonas Nursing Home,

Knock, on the 23rd November 2025.

Reunited in her heavenly home with her parents, Bill and Ann,

brother and sisters, nieces and nephew.

Deeply regretted by her sisters Helen and Sr.Pius, her nephews John,

Paul, Jeffrey and Michael, her nieces, Margaret, Phil, Annemarie and

Katie, Sisters of Mercy Stella Maria and Western Branch.

Sr. Margaret will be reposing at the Boland’s Funeral Home, Swinford,

(F12 K122) on Tuesday November 25th from 4pm with removal to Our

Lady Help of Christians Church, Swinford arriving at 6.30 pm. Mass of

the Resurrection at 12 noon on Wednesday November 26th followed

by burial in Swinford Convent Cemetery.
