JOE TURNER,  Droum South, Castletownbere, Co.Cork and formerly of High Street, Cork unexpectedly on January 1st 2026 at Bantry General Hospital surrounded by his cherished family.

​Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Carmel in 2013. Beloved friend and Dad of Damien (Catherine), Anita (Scott) and Elaine (Paul). Adored Fafa and Grandad of Róise, Lochlann, Óisín and Anita-Carmel.

​Joe will be forever missed by his family, nephews, nieces and his many lifelong friends.

Reposing at Joe’s home in Droum South on Wednesday (7th) from 3pm – 7pm (P75D433).

Requiem mass will take place on Thursday (8th) at 1pm in The Church Of The Sacred Heart, Castletownbere followed by Joe’s final trip around the pier before burial in St.Mary’s Cemetery in Droum.

Funeral cortège will leave Joe’s home at approximately 12.30pm.
