Dympna Glynn (née Connolly)
Dympna completed her life’s journey with her dearly loved family by her side in the wonderful care of the Galway Hospice on Sunday night, 4th January 2026. Predeceased by her husband Brendan and brother Pat.
Dympna will be very sadly missed and deeply mourned by her daughter Marian, sons Séamus and Ronan, son-in-law Tom Hopkins, sisters Bernie and Vera, dearly loved grandchildren of whom she was immensely proud; Megan, Amy, Seán and Katie, Gavin, Joseph and John, Samuel and Conor, the extended Glynn and Connolly family, neighbours and friends.
God saw you were tired
When a cure was not to be
So He wrapped his arms around you
and whispered “come to me”
May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace
