The death has taken place of Olive Swan, 39 High Street, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny.

She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family in St. Lukes Hospital Kilkenny on Friday 23rd January 2026.

Predeceased by her loving husband Davy and brother Gerry.

Deeply regretted by her sons Paul and Mark, daughters Davina and Dawn, sister Carmel, brother Noel,

daughters-in-law Mags and Pam, sons-in-law Peter and Gar,  brother-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Nellie and Violet, grandchildren Jamie, Layla, Isabelle, Dylan, Lucy, Jenson and Nikki, nieces, nephews relatives and a large circle of friends and neighbours.

May Olive Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her son Mark’s residence R95X718  Finnan, Ballyragget from 3pm Sunday 25th with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal monday morning to St. Patricks Church Ballyragget for 11am Requiem Mass , followed by burial in St. Finnans Cemetery Ballyragget.

The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU and the Nore ward in St. Lukes hospital for their care of Mam in her final days.
