Sean died on June 16th 2026, peacefully with his family in the loving care of the staff at Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Frances, parents Patrick and Elizabeth and brothers and sisters.

Sean will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, Pamela, P J, Paul and Sean, grandchildren, Luke, Eve, Moya, Clodagh, Lochlainn, Annalise and Fionn, brother Paddy, sister Olive, daughters-in-law Margaret, Marita and Rachelena, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Grant Sean Eternal Rest and Peace

Sean will repose at Lawless’ Funeral Home, Mucklagh Village (R35 C5P6) on Thursday evening (June 18th) from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Friday morning (June 19th) to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Boora where his Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am and afterwards Sean will be laid to rest in Kilrehan Cemetery.
