Gerry passed away on 22nd June 2026, peacefully at home, in the presence of his family. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Harding) and much loved father of Alan, Karen and Ray, Gerry will be dearly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Shona, grandchildren Sarah and her husband Peter, Amy, Danielle, Robyn, Adam, Lauryn, Sophia, Jamie and Luke, great granddaughter Evie, his extended family, neighbours, friends and not forgetting his loyal companions, present and past, Lucy and Molly.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Tuesday (23rd June) from 5pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 10.30am in St. John’s Church, Kilkenny.
A private cremation will follow.
