On June 22nd 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff at Cork University Hospital. GISELA predeceased by her loving parents Else and Ernest and her son Joe.  Missed and warmly remembered by her grandchildren Áine and Colum, great-grandchildren Aidan and Laoise, daughter-in-law Mary, Áine’s partner Justin, extended family, neighbours and friends.

A private Cremation takes place.

The family would like to thank Gisela’s many carers, Doctors, Skibbereen Medical Centre, the pharmacy staff at Drinagh Co-Op and the staff at Skibbereen Retirement Centre for the loving care shown to Gisela over the years.
