Julia Walsh (nee Cawley)

Kells Road, Kilkenny and formerly of Newpark Close.

Julia passed away on 26th August 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by her husbands John Delaney and more recently John Walsh, her daughter Angela and son Martin. Beloved mother of Margaret, John, Melissa and Louise. Julia will be deeply missed by her loving children, stepchildren Rowena, Margaret, Edward, John John, James and Joey, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Julia’s family would like to thank the Nurses and staff of the Surgical/Medical Unit at St. Luke’s Hospital for the kindness and care shown to her during her time with them.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Thursday (28th August) from 5pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.15pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 10.30am in St. John’s Church.

Funeral afterwards to St. Colman’s Cemetery, Clara.
