Melissa (Lissa) Timmons
Timmons Melissa (Lissa), 15th October 2025 (Greenhills); peacefully after a short illness borne with great dignity surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital. Adored daughter of Sharon and Derek, loving partner of Shane, devoted mam of Joshua and Fiadh and cherished sister of Garry and Jordan.
Lissa will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sisters-in-law Ciara and Chloe, nieces Chloe, Hollie and Paisley, nephews Luke and Alex, her nanny’s Reo and Joan, father-in-law Stephen, sisters-in-law Nicola and Alison, brother-in-law Steo, cousins, all her adored godchildren, aunts, uncles, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated teams at the Breast Clinic and Oncology Team and the staff of the Bennett Ward and Private 1 Ward in St. James’s Hospital especially Charlene and Sue-Ellen for their exceptional care and support shown to Melissa throughout her illness.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Reposing at her home on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in Church of the Holy Spirit, Greenhills followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery arriving at approximately 12noon.
