The death has occurred of Bridie Winters (nee Stafford) Bosheen Road , New Ross, Co Wexford / formerly Ballymacar, New Ross, Co. Wexford

Bridie passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on 28th February 2026. Beloved wife of the late John, devoted mother of Anne (Quigley), Breda (Handrick) and Walter.

Bridie will be sadly missed by her daughters, son, sons-in-law Paddy and Seamus, daughter-in-law Miriam, grandchildren Robert, David, Andrea, Stephen, Jonathan and Claudia, great-grandchildren Jess, Sophie, Sam and Mia, brother-in-law Jim, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Bridie is predeceased by her parents Anne and Anthony, brothers John, Ambrose, Tom, Jim, Addie, sisters Stasia, Mary and Anne, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in Doyle’s Funeral Home The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, New Ross, from 4pm on Monday 2nd March with removal at 7pm to St Mary’s Church Cushinstown (via Bosheen Road en route).

Requiem Mass will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday 03rd March in St. Mary’s Church Cushinstown followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Taghmon.
