Christopher and Margaret Moore (nee Murphy), late of Clondalkin Village.
Margaret passed peacefully at St. James’s hospital on January 18th, 2026 surrounded by all of her family, followed three days later on the 21st January 2026 by her heartbroken husband Christopher, who passed peacefully at home surrounded by family.
Christy and Margaret were loved and adored by all of their children Susan, Carrie, Jenny, Paul & Elaine, their sons in law and daughter in law, all of their Grandchildren, Andrew, Rachel, Adam, Emma-Kate, Alan, Evan, Éabha and Jamie, great-grandson Harry, extended family, friends and neighbours. They will be forever missed.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Nursing and Catering Teams at Private 1 Ward, St. James’s Hospital for the kind and loving care shown to Margaret and also the to the emergency services for their compassionate care and dedicated efforts shown to Christy.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy, Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village on Sunday (25th January 2026) from 1pm to 3pm.
Christy and Margaret’s Funeral will take place on Monday (26th January 2026) at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin Village, followed by Christy’s burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery, shortly after Margaret’s Cremation Service will take place in The Temple, Newlands Cross Crematorium.
