James (Jim) McDonald of Callow Hill, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow. December 5th 2025 suddenly at Loughlinstown Hospital. Pre-deceased by his father Joseph (Joey), sisters Thomasina and Danielle.
Remembered with love by heartbroken family, his wife and best friend Simone (née Kavanagh), children Anthony, Laura, James, Molly and Madison, mother Catherine, brothers Malcom, John and Stephen, sisters Josephine and Olivia, parents-in-law Helen and John Kavanagh, goddaughter Shelby, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends, especially his four legged best friend Bailey.

Reposing at his home on Thursday evening (December 11th) from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral cortège will walk from the Druids Well public house on Friday (December 12th) at 12.20pm arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Newtownmountkennedy for funeral Mass at 12.30pm after which Jim will be laid to rest in Kilmurray Cemetery. 

Family flowers only, donations in memory of Jim to the Irish Heart Foundation. 

Those of you attending Jim’s funeral, can you please wear something Red in celebration of his life.
