James (Jimmy) Travers

and late of James Travers Garage.
Jimmy passed away on 2nd October 2025, peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Beloved husband of Angela and much loved father of Michelle and James. Jimmy will be dearly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Ritchie (McEvoy), daughter-in-law Alison, his beloved grandsons Richard, James, Andrew, Robert, David and James, brother John, sister Noreen (Murphy), extended family, neighbours and his many friends.
Jimmy’s family would like to thank in a special way all the staff at Kilkenny Care Centre for the kindness and attention shown to him during his stay with them.
May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Saturday (4th Oct) from 4pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.30pm.
Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30am in St. John’s Church, Kilkenny.
Interment afterwards in Foulkstown Cemetery.
House private and family flowers only please.
