Joan Sweeney (nee Barry)  

Ballinvarrig West, Castlelyons formerly Corrgorm, Mitchelstown.

Joan passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the exceptional care of the Staff at Fermoy Community Hospital. 

Beloved wife of Rodger and much-loved mother of Pat, Colette, Rory, Barry, Colman, Robert, Emmet and Gerard, cherished Granny of Seanie, Caroline, Bobby, Amelia, Jamie, Maggie, Éabha, Robyn, Ayda, Toby, Reeva, Sophie, Phillip, Gio and Val, dear sister of Eileen, John, Sheila, Mairead, Patrick and the late Mollie, Eamonn and Kevin. 

Daughter of the late Paddy and Peg.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, daughter, sons, their partners Kim, Brendan, Rhona, Anna, Edita, Elaine and Fiona, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends especially family friend Michele Walsh. 

Rest in peace. 
 

Joan will repose at Ronayne’s Funeral Home Fermoy P61WT21.
Visitation Thursday from 5.30.pm. until 7.30.pm.  

Reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception Rathcormac Friday for 12 noon Requiem Mass burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
