The death has occurred of Joseph Joyce,  Magherafadda,  Ballyheane,  Castlebar on 8th June 2026 ,  peacefully at Hollymount Nursing Home, in his  89th year.

Dearly loved father of Christopher (Castlebar) and Valerie (Ballyheane).

Predeceased by his beloved wife Alice Joyce,  his daughter Valerie’s partner  Kevin Heuze and his parents Christy and Molly Joyce.

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken son and daughter,  his daughter-in-law Mary,  by his cherished grandchildren Deirdre,  Leah, Catherine and Jessica,  his niece Connie and Connie’s husband Kevin and their children Martin and Jayden,  his sister-in-law Eileen and her husband Ray  (U.K) and his sister-in-law Freda (U.K),  his nephews,  nieces, cousins,  relatives and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Joseph will repose at Ballyheane Community Centre on  Friday 12th June  from  6.30pm to  8.00pm followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church ,  Ballyheane arriving at 8.15pm.

Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church,  Ballyheane on Saturday 13th  at  11.00am.

Afterwards Joseph will be laid to rest in Ballyheane Cemetery.
