Kathleen WHOOLEY (née Madden)
Kathleen WHOOLEY (nee Madden), Born 4 July 1928 Four Mile House, Strokestown, County Roscommon. After emigrating to New Zealand in 1952 Kathleen lived her life in Tawa, Wellington.
Kathleen passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday 20 September 2025 in Wellington, New Zealand. Dearly loved wife of the late Denis. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Mike & Isobel, John, Trish & Neil, Denis (dec), Anne-Marie & Chris, and Kevin (dec). Grandmother to Josh, Tara, Erin, Keiran, Jennifer, Rowan, Gerard, Earl, Louisa and Laurie and 13 great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to the staff of Bupa, Crofton Downs, Wellington for their care of Kathleen.
Rosary will be held at 10 Mariners Way, Whitby (New Zealand) on Wednesday 24 September at 7.00pm. The funeral service will be held for Kathleen in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 169 Main Road, Tawa, on Thursday 25 September at 10.30am with livestream of the funeral service at www.kcfhvenues.nz
