It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Leo Walsh, died January 2nd 2026, age 90 Years

Late of Rathkeale, Co. Limerick, Clanmaurice Avenue and Dooradoyle, Limerick and formerly of Cleary’s Dublin and Shaw’s Crescent Shopping Centre.

Suddenly but peacefully, in the loving care of staff at Athlunkard Nursing Home, Corbally.

Pre-deceased by his parents Mary and Joseph, brothers Joseph and Dermot and brother-in-law David.

Survived and remembered always by sisters Carmel and Della, nieces Caroline, Irene, Olive and Colette, nephews David and Aidan, sister-in-law Ann, brother-in-law Michael, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and friends.

Leo’s funeral has taken place with immediate family present, burial of Ashes at later date in his parents grave.

Leo’s family wish to thank all the staff in Athlunkard Nursing Home for their wonderful care and attention to Leo for the last number of years, thanks also to Fr. Eamon, Majella and staff in Cross’s Funeral Home and the gravediggers.
