WHELAN – Margaret (Peggy) (née Butler) (Ringsend), 20th June 2026, peacefully, at the Ashbury Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family, with support and exceptional care from the staff of the Ailesbury and Ashbury Nursing Homes. Beloved wife of the late Maurice, much loved mother of Vincent, Maurice, Jacqueline, Peter and Susan, adored Nan of Gareth, Laura, Evan, Glenn, Darragh, Lauren, Craig, Stephen, Ryan, Casey and Jack, and Great-Nan of Oisín. Loved and remembered always by her family, sons and daughters-in-law Paul, Stephen, Joan, Clare and Maureen, her nieces and nephews especially Charlie and Louie, the extended family, friends and neighbours.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday (June 24) at 10 am in St. Patrick’s Church, Ringsend, afterwards to Glasnevin Crematorium.
