Whelan, Marie – 24th December 2025, (Bluebell and formerly of Oblate Drive, Inchicore), (Unexpectedly but Peacefully) surrounded by her loving family at St James Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Eamon, parents Kathleen and Edward, brothers Eddie and Mark. Marie will be very sadly missed by her loving children Amanda, Aaron and Shannon, sons-in-law Daragh and Dean, daughter-in-law Ashley, her adored grandchildren Lily, Katie-Ri, Brogan, Daragh Jnr, Aliyah, Grace, AJ, Freya, sisters Monica, Margaret, Therese and Jude, brothers Sean, Gerard, Tony and Darren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, her best friends Bernie and Jane, nieces, nephews, extended family, Friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Friday afternoon 2nd January 2026 from 3pm to 5pm. A committal service and a celebration of Marie’s life will take place on Saturday 3rd January in Stafford’s Funeral Home at 2.30pm
