Mary Whelan (née Skehan), affectionately known as May, formerly of Ramsfort Park, Gorey, Co. Wexford, and late of Ballyduff, Co. Waterford.

Passed away peacefully on the 10th of May 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Patsy and her parents Patrick and Margaret Skehan.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brother John Skehan (Kilmeaden), sister Eileen Donohue (Athenry), nieces Marguerite Treacy, Paula Rabbitt and Eilis Coyne, nephews Patrick and John Donohue, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Monday, 11th May, from 6pm to 7pm.  Arriving to  St. Nicholas’s Church, Ballyduff, Co. Waterford, X91 D3K8, for Requiem Mass on Tuesday 12th at 2 o’clock.  Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
