“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen Walsh (nee O Dwyer) Cherrymount, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

Maureen died peacefully on Friday 27 February 2026 at Tipperary University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. 

Predeceased by her sister Betty McMahon, Maureen will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her loving husband Ned, daughters Deirdre and Jean, son Mark, son in law Paul, grandchildren Ethan and Amber, brothers Jackie and Ronnie, sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at John O’Donoghue & Sons Funeral Home, Kickham St. Clonmel (E91Pk19) on Monday 2nd March from 6pm to 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am in St. Mary’s Church Irishtown followed by a cremation service in The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork
