Michael died on August 25th 2025, peacefully with his family, in the loving care of the staff at Ferbane Care Centre, in his 97th year. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Peter and Rose and brothers Oliver, John, Peter and Tommie.

Michael will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Clair, sons Niall and Declan, sisters, Phyllis (Laurence) and Sr. Bridget (St. Joseph of Cluny), daughter-in-law Lelia, granddaughter Anastasia, sisters-in-law Brigid and Maura, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Michael will repose at Grennan’s Funeral Home, Ferbane (R42 HW25) on Wednesday (Aug. 27th) from 5.30pm to 7pm.

(Additional parking available in the adjoining Church grounds)

Michael’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (Aug. 28th) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ferbane at 11am, and may be viewed on http://www.ferbaneparish.ie, and will be laid to rest afterwards in Kilrehan Cemetery.
