The death has occurred of Michael Smith, The Bungalow, Creighan, Cavan Town, Cavan. Friday December 5th, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital. 

Beloved husband of Cissy and dear father of Patricia (Barry Fitzpatrick) and the late Kevin (Olivia)

Pre-deceased by his son Kevin, brothers John- Pat and Jimmy, sisters Rose O’Shea and Nan Mulligan, nephews Michael and Johnny Smith. 

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son in law, daughter in law, his adored grandchildren Áine, Gerard, Niamh, Ciara and Michael, sister-in-law Breda (Jersey), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends. 

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Sunday from 4.00pm until 6.30pm.

Removal from his home on Monday morning at 11.30am to the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon, interment afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Drumkilly.
