Mick (Michael) Whelan, Banemore, Listowel, Co. Kerry. Peacefully, on February 27th, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son of the late Moss and Kit Whelan. Sadly missed by his loving sister Mary Farrell, brothers Jack and Brendan, sisters-in-law Mary and Doreen , nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, carers, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Lyons Funeral Home, Derry, Listowel on Sunday afternoon (March 1st) from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of Our Lady of Fatima and Saint Senan, Irremore on Monday morning at 10.45am, with the Requiem Mass for Mick being celebrated at 11.00am, live-streamed on irremorechurch.com , followed by burial afterwards in Kilshinane Cemetery, Tralee Road, Listowel.
