Monica passed away peacefully in Nova Scotia on 26th December 2025. 

Beloved wife of Dr. Jaspal Singh, dear mother of Tara, Karuna and Oisín, mother-in-law of Ben, Brent and Jill and devoted Nanny of Malachi, Melvina, Declan and Aelish. Monica will be sadly missed and always remembered by her husband, children and their partners, grandchildren, sisters Margaret, Geraldine, Dympna and Pamela, brothers Canon John and Paul, brothers-in-law Eric, Liam, Gerard and Paul, sisters-in-law Sinead and Cathrine, her nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends. Monica was predeceased by her parents Johnny and Margaret McArdle and her siblings Peter and Rita (both in infancy), Betty, Jim and Ann.
