The death has occurred  peacefully of Neil Dolan, Queen of Peace Nursing Home Knock, and formerly of Spencer Street,  Castlebar,  on Saturday 10th January, 2026,  at Mayo University Hospital,  Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents Julia (née O’Donnell) and Micheal Dolan, and his sisters Christina and Mary.

Neil will be sadly missed and remembered by his sisters Ann, Breege, Bernie and Sheila, his brother Micheal, his nephews Jason, Gary and Fergy and niece Áine, his loyal and caring friends Liam, Austin, Pat, Heuy, Padraig and Jodi as well as Siobhan and the other wonderful staff of the Queen of Peace Nursing Home.

Neil will repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home,  Thomas Street,  Castlebar,  F23 FD90,  from 6:30pm to 8.00pm on Monday 12th January.  

The funeral will arrive  at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Tuesday 13th January at 11.15am for  Requiem Mass at 11:30am,  after which Neil will be laid to rest.
