ZOONS (Leamlara, Co. Cork and formerly of Holsbeek, Belgium): On January 24th, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his family at Brookfield Care Centre, Leamlara, RENÉ, loving husband of the late Gerda Fiddelaers, dear father of Cindy, beloved brother of Amelie and the recently deceased Mat, brother-in-law of Theo, Roger, Lisette and the late Maria and Lambert.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter and family, son-in-law James, grandson Finn, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Monday (January 26th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

René will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Gerda in Belgium
