Sister Victoire Whelan PBVM
The death has occurred of Sister Victoire Whelan PBVM, Presentation Sisters, Matlock, England / Houndswood Cross, Co Mayo. Sister Victoire Whelan, daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine, dearly loved sister of Tommie, John, Peter, Michael, Mary, Brigid, Nellie and Sister Josephine died peacefully at Mercy Sisters Care Centre, Derby on 29th September 2025.
Sister Victoire ministered in England and Zambia for over fifty years. She will be sadly missed by her beloved Presentation Sisters, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends across the world.
May Victoire rest in peace and enjoy the unfolding of her new life.
Funeral Arrangements
Sister Victoire will be received into the Convent Chapel, Matlock on Friday 24th October at 5pm.
