Syl (Sylvester) Mulvey (Shankill and formerly of Glencullen) – January 13th, 2026. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital and while surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Theresa Mulvey (née McDonald) and much-loved father of Carol, Gary, Alan and Mark.

Sadly missed and remembered by all his loving family, son-in-law Will, daughters-in-law Caroline, Susan and Gary’s partner Carol, his adored grandchildren Aaron, Ruby, Kaycee, Rory, Sonny, Grace and Holly, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Syl will repose at his home on Thursday evening (Jan 15th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday (Jan 16th) at 9:30am from his home and proceeding at a walking pace to St. Anne’s Church, Shankill arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter to Shanganagh Cemetery.
